Lafayette Parish Schools Superintendent Burnell Lemoine's contract has been extended. Board members approved that contract extension during Wednesday evening's school board meeting. Lemoine's original contract was set to expire on December 31, 2010. It will now be one year longer. Along with the extension, he also gets a 2.5% salary... more » -

According to Lafayette Parish School Board Superintendent Burnell Lemoine, a recommendation of a three-day suspension in the case of the Lafayette Parish bus driver Kenny Mire was administered. The dates on record, October 8th through 12th, cover a 5 day period, however, two of those days are Saturday and Sunday.... more »
