Career Day helping students explore job options

Posted: Updated:

Students attending Summer Camp at J.W. Faulk Elementary School in Lafayette are deciding what they want to be when they grow up.

Thanks to presentations during today's Career Day they may have a better idea.

Firefighters, paramedics, and even KATC's Photographer Chris Welty showed up to explain what they do.

They also told their own personal stories about what led them this point in their careers.

"We really wanted them to think about this and think about what am I good at and what do I like to do," said Lizz Johnson, J.W. Faulk Elementary. "All this week, they are investigating what kinds of things they like to do and what kinds of things they are good at."
