Stalking suspect wanted by St. Martin Sheriff's Office captured in Illinois

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office reports that a man wanted on violations of protective orders and stalking has been arrested. 

52-year-old Andrew John Karcz, III, was arrested Monday afternoon in Winnebago County Illinois on charges of four counts of violation of a protective order and one count of stalking. He will be extradited to St. Martin Parish at a later date.

In October of 2017, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office asked for the public's assistance in locating Andrew John Karcz, III, who was last known to be residing in the 2700 block of Main Hwy., Breaux Bridge. He was also believed to be residing in the Opelousas area, according to police.
