Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Missing Persons Unit need the public's assistance identifying a suspect related to the disappearance of Jared Chavis of Franklin.

On Friday, January 12, 2018, at 10:39 p.m., Houston Police say 19-year-old Chavis met with a suspect, known only as “Bolt Suave” in the 8800 block of Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas.

While the victim was riding in the back seat of a black Ford Fusion driven by “Bolt Suave,” a verbal disagreement occurred and gunshots were fired. According to a witness, Chavis never exited the vehicle and has not been seen since.
The family of Jared Chavis is requesting the help of the community in locating Jared Chavis and information on suspect “Bolt Suave”.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect(s) in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app. All tipsters remain anonymous.

KATC's Josh Meny spoke with Chavis' family last week hoping to find more information on his disappearance. Click here for that story.
