Lafayette resident Dylan Walsh stars in new CW series premiering tonight

In The CW’s new series “Life Sentence,” Lafayette resident Dylan Walsh plays Peter Abbott, father to the main character of the show. Peter is a sturdy, stoic History Professor, who loves his wife, his house, hugs his grandkids more than his kids and is not great at feelings.

Walsh may be best known for his starring role on the award-winning television series, “Nip/Tuck.” His additional television credits include a starring role in “Unforgettable,” “Brooklyn South,” a recurring role on “Everwood” and appearances in the television movies “Final Voyage” and “More Than Meets the Eye: The Joan Brock Story.”

Walsh's film credits include “Secretariat" parts of which were filmed here in Acadiana.
