LAFAYETTE -

A judge is ordering the seizure and sale of The Filling Station in downtown Lafayette.

The owner Mark Alleman, who acquired the former Conoco filling station-turned restaurant in 2016, owes H&B Equity Partners LLC the principal loan amount of $350,000, plus more than $36,000 in interest, according to The Advocate.

The report states Alleman, who owns Hook and Boil in Broussard, also owes money to the seller, James Suire, and to J.P. Morgan Chase.

Chase wants to foreclose on Hook and Boil as collateral.

Suire told The Advocate he has been in touch with Alleman is not suing him.
