Lafayette police search for suspects in MLK Drive shooting

Lafayette police have identified the victim in Thursday night's fatal shooting on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive as 24-year-old Marisha M. Felix of Lafayette. 

Officers responded to the shooting in the 800 block of the street at 8:00 p.m. 

Upon their arrival, they located Felix dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle that struck a fence, according to a spokeswoman with the Lafayette Police Department. The vehicle also had several bullet holes in it, the spokeswoman says. 

No arrests have been made. 

The investigation is ongoing.
