Morgan City Police warn of "police association" scam calls

The Morgan City Police Department says they have been receiving complaints in regards to a potential scam calls referencing donating to a "police association." 

According to police, victims are receiving calls from local numbers attempting to collect donations on behalf of a police association.  On Facebook, Chief James F. Blair stated that everyone should be cautious when considering the donation of funds and only donate to trusted sources.

Currently, the Morgan City Police Department is not soliciting for donations through any private companies.
