Tips help Scott Police apprehend one suspect; another still wanted

Chief Chad Leger and the Scott Police Department would like to thank the public for the overwhelming response in assisting to locate Kendrick Kelly and Ledarion LeBlanc.

"Our message spread quickly and resulted in Ledarion LeBlanc turning himself in voluntarily to the Scott Police Department less than 19 hours after our original social media post," the chief said. 

Kelly is still wanted, and a warrant for his arrest is still active. 

LeBlanc was booked with Principle to Unauthorized Use of a Moveable, Simple Burglary, 3 counts of Principle to Simple Burglary, and Attempted Simple Burglary. Kelly and LeBlanc are also persons of interest in a additional cases being investigated by area law enforcement agencies within Lafayette Parish. 

Anyone with information that will lead to Kelly's whereabouts to please contact Scott Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 337-889-5105 or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 337-232-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
