Louisiana State Police say that I-10 Eastbound is blocked just east of the Texas State line due to two separate vehicle crashes.

Photos shared on the department's Facebook page shows that at least one crash involved a FedEx truck and a UPS truck. The department also showed pictures of two smaller vehicles involved in accidents.

It was unclear in which accidents those vehicles had been involved.

Troopers say traffic is currently backed-up into Texas for several miles. Alternate routes for drivers include LA 12, US 190 and LA 82.

Crews are working to clear the scene and reopen the roadway.
