Couture for a Cause kicks-off tonight at Audi Lafayette, few tickets remain

Posted: Updated:

Models will take the runway tonight, Thursday, March 1, for Audi Lafayette and 337 Media's inaugural Couture for a Cause: A Designer Fashion Show.

The event is all but sold out with only a few tickets remaining. KATC's Katie Lopez was LIVE this morning at Audi Lafayette on Johnston Street where in a few hours models will strut their stuff to raise funds for Families Helping Families of Acadiana.

The four models featured during the runway show are members of the special needs community and will be wearing designs from four local fashion designers. The designers have also created gowns specifically for the models who were able to add their input into the creation of the final product.

The event will be held from 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm at Audi Lafayette located on Johnston Street.

Designers Romey Roe, Jeanne-Claire Benton, Joi Mahoney and Melissa Palfrey made the designs that will be spotlighted on the runway. Sponsors for the special models were Sheriff Mark Garber, Jeremy Castille, Chase Landry and Jeremy Hebert.
