US 90 Eastbound reopens after 18-wheeler overturned

Update: The Broussard Police Department says that US 90 Eastbound near Albertson Parkway has reopened after an overturned 18-wheeler caused the road to close early this morning. Crews were working since 3 am to remove the vehicle. 

Detours were set up as to ease traffic through the area which at times was temporarily closed for removal work. 


Emergency crews are working to recover an overturned 18-wheeler on US 90 eastbound near Albertson Parkway.
According to the Broussard Police Department's Facebook page, the road may be closed off to traffic during parts of the recovery.

Detour routes for drivers include Albertson Parkway to S. Morgan to Ambassador Caffery.

Drivers can also take  St. Nazaire to Hwy 96 to Hwy 182.
