Burglary suspects identified after leaving behind fingerprints, DNA

SCOTT, La. -

Police are asking for help from the public locating two burglary suspects.

On Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, several vehicles were broken in to and one was stolen in Scott, according to Scott Police Chief Chad Leger. DNA evidence and fingerprints were gathered from the vehicles. Officers were also able to obtain video surveillance, stated Leger. Using the evidence, two suspects were identified.

Kendrick Kelly, 19, of Lafayette, is wanted for three counts of vehicle burglary.

Ledarion Leblanc, 18, of Duson, is wanted as a person of interest.
