Sun Belt Suspends Sunday's Officiating Crew One Game

Posted: Updated:

UPDATE 2/28

The Sun Belt has suspended the officiating crew from Sunday's Louisiana-Wright State game for one game due to multiple officiating errors according to a SBC release Wednesday.

The conference said the decision was made by commissioner Karl Benson.

ORIGINAL STORY

Ragin' Cajuns Baseball Head Coach Tony Robichaux has been suspended for the next two games.

This stems from his ejection in Sunday's contest vs. Wright State. The NCAA states that after an ejection, if you don't leave the field in an orderly fashion, that is an automatic two game suspension.

He will miss tomorrow's game vs. Nicholls and Friday's game vs. Mississippi State. The March 2nd contest vs. the Bulldogs is the Cajuns opening game of the Shriner's College Classic at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
