Abbeville man identified as one of three suspects in Southeastern University shooting

An Abbeville man has been identified as one of the three people arrested in connection with a shooting last week at Southeastern University.
According to WBRZ, the Tangipahoa Sheriff's Office identified 19-year-old Jacoby G. Senegal of Abbeville as a suspect in the shooting. He is charged with carrying a firearm on school property, two counts of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a stolen firearm.
Other arrests include 19-year-old Jabbar Singleton of New Orleans, 18-year-old Herbert J. Joseph Jr. of Napoleonville. Singleton is charged with illegal discharge of a firearm and carrying a firearm while on school property. Joseph is charged with carrying a firearm on school property and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Last week, Southeastern identified the two victims in the shooting as student-athletes at the school.
