Jeff Davis Sheriff's Detectives have arrested a Minden woman on forgery and identity theft charges for allegedly using a victim's debit card and stealing from their home.

Deputies say that 39-year-old Courtney Lynn Guidry allegedly used a debit card on February 17, 2018, to withdraw $500 from a victim's bank account at an ATM. Then on February 18, Guidry also allegedly presented two checks taken from the same victim for cash at Walmart.

The victim also reported that $600 in cash was taken from their residence along with a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol with pink handles.

Guidry was arrested and charged with two counts of forgery, identity theft, unauthorized use of an access card, and theft between $1000 and $5000.

She was booked into the Jeff Davis Parish jail with no bond.
