The Calcasieu Parish School Board has handled several incidents of potentially threatening behavior this week on some of their campuses.

While no weapons were found at any of the schools, every case was fully investigated, according to  Holly Holland, spokeswoman for the school board. Both the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office and the Calcasieu Parish School Board have enacted a zero-tolerance approach to any such behavior.
"The safety of our students, faculty, and staff will always be our number one priority," stated Holland. "We want to assure parents and guardians that our campuses are safe places for students, and that will always be our primary focus."
