Sunshine trying to make a rare appearance

Posted: Updated:

The atmosphere is absolutely loaded with moisture, which became apparent Wednesday morning with fog rolling in and dropping visibilities through the morning commute.

Despite a gray and wintry looking start to the day the temperatures Wednesday morning are much warmer then they were only 24 hours before sitting in the mid 60s.

Fog will linger into the morning but once it start to burn off we may even see a little sunshine by Wednesday afternoon, although it will be battling back clouds all day.

A few isolated misty showers is all that's expected through lunch time and then rain chances will diminish for another day or two as we start to wrap up the weekend.

Deep southerly winds from the Gulf of Mexico will continue to warm up temperatures through the day with highs sitting in the 70s, now with much more regularity.

A little more sunshine is on tap for Thursday but by Friday clouds and showers will start to move back in for the weekend.
