Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish seeking fugitive, one arrested

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to locate one wanted fugitive after another was arrested Monday afternoon.

Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office are still looking for Crystal Love Matthews.  49-year-old Peter M. Smith of Breaux Bridge, the second fugitive wanted, was arrested Monday around 3:00 p.m. He was wanted on felony theft charges.

Matthews, 33, is described as a white female, 5’5” tall, 260 pounds. She has orange hair and hazel eyes and her last known address is 1257 B Francis Loop in St. Martinville. Matthews is wanted for Aggravated Battery, 2 counts of Simple Burglary and Felony Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile.

Warrants were issued for both of their arrests.
