Vigil held for Jeanerette Mardi Gras shooting victim

A vigil is being held in Jeanerette for the man killed during a shooting at Sunday's Mardi Gras parade.

Family and friends of the victim 22-year-old Dante Archangel gathered at 6:00 p.m. for a vigil and march from MLK to Monot in Jeanerette. Speakers at tonight's vigil included Parish President Larry Richard and Jeanerette Mayor April Foulcard. 

There have also been arrest in this case.      

Thaddeus Gabriel is facing second-degree murder charge and is facing principle to second-degree murder. Investigators are still looking for Kentrell Gabriel of Jeanerette.
