Louisiana Lottery has announced the winner of the $525,00 Lotto jackpot. The winning ticket was purchased from the Little Capital of Louisiana in Henderson.

83-year-old Josephine Prendergast of Gonzales was announced today as the lucky person walking away with the big prize after her numbers were chosen for the January 20th drawing.

Those numbers were: 02-05-16-21-23-28

Louisiana Lottery spoke with Prendergast who was shocked to have matched the all six numbers.

"I was reading the numbers and checking them each off thinking 'that's not right!' They were in the right order and everything," Prendergast said in a press release.

Her win, according to Louisiana Lottery is the first Lotto win of 2018.

Prendergast says that she visits the Little Capital of Louisiana station which is located in Henderson, Louisiana every other week to purchase tickets.

After state and federal tax withholdings Prendergast received $367,500.
