Key Club helping FoodNet restock their shelves

The Acadiana Homeschool Key Club is putting on a food drive for FoodNet to restock their shelves. 

Organizers for the drive say their warehouse shelves are empty. They are starting Thursday, February 8, 2018, at SuperOne and Youngsville and Carencro and Adriens in Lafayette.  The event will continue from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. 

The group will be out on Monday, February 12, 2018, at the SuperOne in Youngsville and Scott.

FOODS THE FOOD NET IS LOOKING FOR:

DRY GOODS:

  • Dry Beans
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Pasta, Instant Mashed Potatoes
  • Cornbread Mix
  • Meals in a Box
  • Cereal, Oatmeal, Grits

CANED GOODS:

  • Tuna
  • Meat
  • Vegetables
  • Fruit
  • Spaghetti Sauce/Tomato Sauce
  • Soups/Meals in a Can

All other dry and canned goods, as well as fresh produce, toiletries, paper goods, and monetary donations are also accepted.

Collection bins will be put out in those locations mentioned through the month of February
