Posted: Updated:

The Roses of Acadiana District Theresians will host their Lenten Day of Reflection event on Saturday, February 17 at St. Pius X School theater.

The event begins at 8:30 am and will last until 4:00 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and can be purchased online at acadianatheresians.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $30.

A light breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be served during the event. The day of reflection is a way for those in attendance to kick off the Lenten season by taking steps to prepare and coming closer to Jesus. There will be three speakers present during the event. At the close of the event, there will be a free demonstration of a Soul Core Class. The Theresians, according to their website, are a global ministry founded in the Catholic tradition that welcomes all women who desire to grow spiritually within a Christian community by prayerfully nurturing, affirming and empowering one another to become the women God intends them to be.
