WomenHeart of Acadiana, LGMC to hold support meetings for women living with heart disease

WomenHeart of Acadiana and Lafayette General Medical Center will offer a support group on the second Thursday of every month for women living with heart disease. 

The first meeting for the Lafayette area will be held on Thursday, February 8. The meeting will provide those attending with peer-to-peer support, information, and encouragement for women who currently are living with a heart condition. 

Heart disease is the number one killer in the country ahead of all cancers. The meetings will happen at LGMC's Southwest Medical Office Building on the third floor Suite 3000. The office is located on Ambassador and West Congress. The meetings will begin at 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
