Neighborhood warns drivers of no outlet with creative sign

A homemade sign has appeared on a signpost in a local Lafayette neighborhood warning "cooyons"  who drive through that the neighborhood only has one outlet.

The sign, according to residents on Facebook, has appeared near the back of the neighborhood and reads "Turn around cooyon, NO EXIT." When drivers who don't head the sign's warning return, the sign gives them a little Cajun sass saying, "Told you. Mais, what I told you"?

The reason for the sign: Mardi Gras revelers are desperately searching for the perfect place to park and, upon trying to exit, get lost in the neighborhood's streets.

The sign is located in the neighborhood directly off of Bertrand Drive and Johnston Streets, behind Rouses and Campus Crossing apartments.
