Rayne High School to host 2nd annual Chili Bowl Cook-off

Rayne High School will host their 2nd annual chili bowl cook-off at the Frog Festival Pavilion in Rayne on Saturday, February 3.

The event will take place from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10 and include a chance to taste all of the different chili bowls. Children five and under get in free. Concessions will also be served. The event will feature an auction, live entertainment, washer board tournament, and family games. 

Teams are still be accepted to compete to make the best chili. Team registration is $20.

Those interested can register at the RHS PTO Chili Bowl Cook-Off  2018 Facebook page or call (337) 288-9921. 

All proceeds collected will go towards Rayne High School and the purchase of supplies for their students. Last year, funds were used to buy Chromebooks for students and it is the hope of the school that they can continue to purchase those Chromebooks for students.
