St. Martinville business robbed twice, police looking for 4 suspects

The St. Martinville Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying four suspects wanted in two armed robbery incidents at a local business.

Police say the first armed robbery occurred on Saturday, January 13 at around 10:20 pm at a business in the 500 block of West Port Street within the city of St. Martinville. The three suspects were seen on surveillance entering the business and brandishing a firearm before demanding money from the cashier.

Police say the suspects fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money and were last seen heading down East Port Street.

A second armed robbery, at the same location, occurred on Thursday, January 25. According to police, at 9:30 pm a suspect entered the store brandishing a gun and demanding money from the cashier. The suspect fled the business heading down West Port Street.
