SLCC visits Northside High

Posted: Updated:

South Louisiana Community College's Center for Minority Excellence presented College Day at Northside High today.

"We want to assist high school students with creating a blueprint for their post-secondary educational journey at SLCC," said Tonya Bolden-Ball, CME director.

During the event, which was open to all students at the school, students and their families were given information about SLCC admissions, academics, financial aid and testing.

The aim of the event is  to encourage students to pursue a college degree and expose them to realistic and affordable options available at SLCC.
