Jeanerette to shut off water to some residents to fix water leak

The City of Jeanerette announced today, Wednesday, January 31, that water will be shut off for some residents beginning at 10 am.

Mayor April Foulcard says that the shut off is scheduled to fix a water leak. The following streets will be affected by the shut-off.

From Main St on St. Peter St. to the Railroad Tracks, Guiberteau St., and Weber St. ?

The city says the shut off should only take about one hour. Any concerns can be directed towards Jeanerette City Hall by calling (337) 276-4587.
