Restore Louisiana helping homeowners affected by 2016 floods

Restore Louisiana is helping out homeowners affected by the 2016 floods with outreach meetings, including two in Acadiana.

Representatives from several agencies were in Youngsville today to offer more information on applying for assistance.

Tomorrow they will be at the Vermilion Parish library in Abbeville from two to six.

"We're here to offer assistance in person to homeowners who might need help with completing the application,"

Events are scheduled as follows:

Jan. 31, 2-6 p.m. Vermilion Parish Library - Abbeville Branch 405 E. St. Victor St., Abbeville

Feb. 1, 2-6 p.m. Ouachita Parish Public Library - Sterlington Memorial Branch 305 Keystone Road, Monroe
