Reward for information increased in 2016 Crowley cold case homicide

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office has increased the reward for information on a 2016 Crowley homicide.

Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking for anyone with information about the December 10, 2016, homicide of 32-year-old Michael Winn to contact Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish.

According to detectives, Winn was shot just after midnight in the 100 block of Kathy Meadows Ln., in the Meadows Apartment Complex. Deputies responding to the location of the shooting discovered that Winn suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
