Crowley Police Department Narcotics agents and patrol officers made a traffic stop that ended with a drug bust.

Officers first saw the driver allegedly commit several traffic violations, and tried to pull him over, police said. The car eventually pulled into a driveway on Leslie Amos Street, police said.

Brellon George, 25, was the driver. He got out of the car and tried to get into the home, but nobody answered his knock, police said.

George didn't have his driver's license, and officers felt he was acting nervously, as if he was getting ready to run, police said.

Officers detained him and searched his person and the area by the house's front door, where he had been standing, police said. Agents allegedly found crystal methamphetamine, powder cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana, police said.

George was arrested and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail with possession with intent to distribute meth and cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of marijuana.

"I am extremely proud of the officers of this department, not only for this huge bust, but also for their continuing fight in the battle against the illegal drug industry. Though we may not always see seizures as large as this, the officers of the Department and I are committed to removing as much illegal narcotics off of our streets as we can." Chief Jimmy Broussard said. "With the help of the public, we are in the trenches, some even daily, battling this fight to make our streets safe for the citizens of our great community and we will continue to fight to our last breath."
