Eunice Police are looking for a Lafayette man whose car was left abandoned after it was struck by a train.

Police fund the car yesterday at about 10 a.m. at the 12th Street railroad crossing. The train had hit the car, but there was no one inside.

Police have determined that the driver allegedly was Jason Edwin Langley of Lafayette. He's wanted for questioning in connection with the accident. Police say he's wanted on outstanding warrants for Lafayette City Court.

He's described as a white man, 6 feet 6 inches tall, and his last known address was on Walker Road in Lafayette.

Chief Randy Fontenot asks that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jason Langley please contact the Eunice Police Department at 337-457-2626  - all callers will remain anonymous.
