Two teenagers are under arrest in connection with a shooting incident that happened in Jennings on Thursday, police say.

Devin Daigle, 19, and a 15-year-old were both booked with attempted first-degree murder after the incident. No one was wounded, police said.

Daigle is accused of going to the victim's home to look for him, police say. The victim drove up as Daigle arrived, and then tried to drive away. Daigle and the 15-year-old allegedly began firing guns at the victim's car as he drove away, police say. The victim had a passenger, which is why there are two counts of attempted murder against each teenager, police said.

Police served a warrant on Daigle's home, and added counts of possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm near drugs, possession of drugs near children and possession of money derived from drug sales to the charges Daigle was booked with. He also allegedly threatened a police officer while he was being booked, so a count of public intimidation of an officer was added, police say.

Dakota Chaisson, 20, was arrested at Daigle's home and booked with possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm near drugs, possession of drugs near children and possession of money derived from drug sales, police say. A female child found at the residence was turned over to a guardian, police say.
