A cool day expected across south Louisiana with very little expected in the forecast Wednesday, which won't be the case as we get into the start of the weekend.
In the meantime, it will be a partly sunny day for the middle of the week with a layer of high clouds the only thing that will obstruct the sunshine, and this afternoon even that layer of clouds will be eaten away.
Temperatures are going to struggle Wednesday with highs crawling up into the upper 50s and a cool breeze continuing through the day out of the north which will make it quite cool outside.
As high pressure slides east and settles on top of Louisiana Wednesday night the clear and calm conditions will mean another cold night and morning on Thursday.
