Second annual Still I Rise Women Abuse Survivor Conference to be held Jan. 26 & 27

The Second annual Still I Rise Women Abuse Survivor Conference, an event for those hoping to find healing and strength from the abuse that they may have experienced in their lives will be held at The Bayou Church on Kaliste Saloom on January 26th and 27th.

The theme for this year's conference is "I Am Not Alone." At this year's conference attendees will learn about the power of their testimony and hear from others who have survived abuse and have flourished. The event will contain praise and worship as well as appropriate resources for those who attend. All denominations are welcome.

The event is open to those 18 years or older who have experienced abuse. The event will begin on Friday, January 26 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and resume again on Saturday, January 27 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
