According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, police say that a backpack containing the playbook for Alabama was stolen from the hotel ahead of the National Championship game.

On Saturday, defensive line coach Karl Dunbar left his backpack, which contained the playbook, along with his cellphone, laptop, $1,300 cash, and passport, in the hotel's conference room.

Police tell WSB that they do not know who stole the backpack, but that some items were recovered in a bathroom. The playbook remains missing.

Surveillance footage of the theft shows a suspect with the coach's backpack.

WSB says they reached out to officials at the University of Alabama who said they did not know the bag had been stolen.
