Help from public needed in locating runaway

The Sulphur Police Department is asking for help from the public locating a 16-year-old runaway.

Albert James Ceasar, of Sulphur, left his home on Friday, according to police.

Ceasar is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and goes by the name A.J.

    Ville Platte Police have arrested a local man in connection with a Sunday shooting death in the city. Darius Armondo Arvie, 24, was booked with second degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
