Ragin Cajuns Basketball

2018 has been a good year so far for UL Basketball. The Cajuns hosted Appalachian State last night, in a game that we thought would be a dandy.

UL used a 27-2 run at the end of the first half to take a commanding lead. Frank Bartley led all scorers with 16. UL led 46-17 at the break and UL fans appreciated it. In the second half, it was more of the same from the Cajuns. The Cajuns took down the Mountaineers with a score of 78-45.

The Cajuns Women's Basketball team shot the Appalachian State Mountaineers out of the Cajundome as well with their 61-45 win.

In the first half, Nekia Jones stayed hot after her 25 point output against Appalachian State. The Cajuns were down by two at the break.

Coming back, the Cajuns pull away in the 4th quarter thanks to a play from Troi Swain.
