A glitch in Capital One's online banking system has apparently caused customer's most recent transactions to be charged again, appearing as pending and keeping customers from using funds in their accounts.

On Twitter the bank's support teams said they were working on the issue and apologized to customers who may have received duplicate debit transactions or were enduring long wait times over the phone for customer service.

The company says they are working towards a fix to the problem and that customers would not be responsible for any fees acquired due to the issue.

Customer support asks that those who bank with them log into accounts online or on their app for updates.
