The Village of Morse is asking residents to conserve their water as the pressure in the system continues to drop.

Officials say that water pressure is dropping due to freezing temperatures and residents leaving faucets running so pipes do not freeze. Mayor Thibodeaux recommends that to help in the conservation of the water, that residents shut the water off at their main line at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night.  Residents are asked to keep their water line closed until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday and to refrain from dripping water from faucets overnight.

In a statement, Officials with the Village of Morse said they would be forced to shut off all water services until the temperatures rise above freezing if pressure continues to drop.
