According to both the Daily Advertiser and the Baton Rouge Advocate, LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron is set to replace Matt Canada as the Tigers' offensive coordinator after the team plays in the Citrus Bowl.

Canada, is in the first year of a three-year $1.5 million per year per year contract as offensive coordinator at LSU -- making him then highest paid offensive coordinator in college football.

Long time assistant and current tight ends coach Steve Ensminger is expected to take over Canada's position after a move is made. Orgeron refused to address the issue this week with reporters in Orlando. LSU will play Notre Dame in the Citrus Bowl on New Year's Day.
