Posted: Updated:

Another arrest has been made in connection with ongoing investigations of burglaries in Jeff Davis Parish.

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Detectives says that 36-year-old Jennifer Christine Stutes of Jennings was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact to burglary.

Officials say they linked Stutes to the crimes allegedly committed by Aden Greek II and Laconda Nicole Ortego who were arrested Wednesday, December 27, 2017. These burglaries are reported to have taken place from August to December of 2017. Detectives also say that Stutes is linked to another subject already in custody in St. Landry Parish.

25-year-old Brandon Charpentier of Eunice was arrested Tuesday, December 26, 2017, for burglaries in multiple parishes.

Deputies in Jeff Davis say they are continuing to gather information and stolen items including the recovery of an antique adding machine.

More arrests are expected.
