Saints running back Alvin Kamara's Christmas fashion statement on Sunday's game against the Falcons landed him with a fine.

During the game, Kamara wore red "Christmas" cleats styled like a stocking that included three jingle bells on each shoe. Kamara, in a Twitter post, said that after the game he promised if fined he would create a GoFundMe account for the fine and donate proceeds collected to a New Orleans charity.

Well, that fine came in the mail, and Kamara is sticking to his word. The Saints RB says all the money collected from his GoFundMe will be donated to the Willie Hall playgrounds recreational department to provide cleats for their youth football programs. As of 2:00 pm on Friday the fundraising page, Alvin Kamara Christmas Cleat Fine, was very close to nearing it's $5,000 goal.

The fine, totaled at $6,079, will be paid in full by Kamara to the NFL who uses the fines incurred by players to donate to their own charity.
