Abbeville church hosts toy drive on Christmas Eve

ABBEVILLE, La. -

The faithful at Greater Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Abbeville are celebrating the season of giving with a toy drive.

Toy donations were handed out to children this morning in front of their church.

"Well, the kids enjoy the toys. They are very grateful. Some kids most likely don't have a toy for Christmas, so we try to provide toys for kids that come through our church on Christmas Eve," said Henry Dixon, an usher at Greater Pleasant Green Baptist Church.
