Second suspect arrested in Baton Rouge for Opelousas murder

BATON ROUGE, La. -

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of an Opelousas man this past August.

Liquincy Revish, 26, of Baton Rouge, was taken into custody by Baton Rouge Police Department today. Revish will be transferred to the Opelousas Police Department where he will be charged with second-degree murder.

On August 27, Opelousas police responded to a shooting at the intersection of Lombard and Congress streets at 11:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found 38-year-old Lester Bowman behind his residence, dead from several gunshot wounds.

On September 18, investigators, with the help of Baker police and East Baton Rouge Sheriff's deputies, located 18-year-old Treshawnitra Landheart of Batchelor, LA. Landheart was transferred to Opelousas where she was booked on principal to second-degree murder.
