One more round of wet weather

Posted: Updated:

It's not the most festive forecasts for Friday and while it won't be overly Christmas like Friday there will be some changes in the forecast over the weekend to drop temperatures in time for the holiday.

Winds will be out of the Gulf of Mexico through Friday keeping all that moisture firmly locked in place along with the clouds that streamed in through the day on Thursday.

The clouds won't produce much in the way of shower activity through Friday afternoon and evening with a few isolated showers popping up, and a lot more rain on the way for the overnight hours.

Showers and storms will roll through before daybreak on Saturday but shouldn't actually last all that long giving us a chance to clear out and cool down during the weekend.

Christmas day continues to look sunny and chilly.

Happy Holidays everyone.
