Four people injured in shooting on N. University Avenue

Lafayette Police say that four people have been injured in a shooting on N. University Avenue. 

Police say they responded to a call of shots fired at a convenience store near the 1500 block of N. University Avenue at around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017. 

Corporal Bridgett Dugas reports that four people, three black males and a black female, were transported to a local hospital with injuries. One of the people involved is listed in critical condition, the rest are stable. 

Police say they will be looking at surveillance video in the area to determine what happened during the shooting.  Anyone with information about this incident or anyone involved is urged to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS
