State Police arrested a Catahoula man and accused him of felony sexual abuse of a child.

Frank R. Alexander, 63, of Rhinehart, was booked with felony sexual battery.

Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations Special Victims Unit/Alexandria Field Office say there may be other victims in Louisiana, and they're asking anyone who has had contact with him, feel they may be a victim of him, or might have information about him to call them at 318.484.2154.

This arrest stemmed from a complaint about the molestation of a child in Catahoula Parish, and Alexander was arrested in Harrisonburg.

Alexander was booked into the Catahoula Parish Detention Center without a bond.  The investigation remains ongoing.

The Louisiana State Police online reporting system is also available to the public through a convenient and secure reporting form that is submitted to the appropriate investigators. Citizens can access the form by visiting www.lsp.org and clicking the Suspicious Activity link.
