KATC's Sports Director Andrew Clay shares with GMA a morning recap of all things sports and sports news for Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

UL Lafayette Men's Basketball

Last night made it the 7th straight win for the Ragin Cajuns Men's Basketball team who notched their 10th win of the season in a come from behind victory in the Cajundome against Southeastern.

Southeastern opened up an early lead against the Cajuns by about 13 points during the first half of the game. But the Cajuns, rallied by Coach Bob Marlin, pulled off the comeback going on a 17-0 run capped off by Bryce Washington. UL took the lead before the break and went on to win 82-74

New Orleans Saints

Boom and Zoom lead six Saints players to this year's Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara are the first teammate running backs in 42 years to be named to the roster. Rookie defensive back Marshon Lattimore, quarterback Drew Brees, defensive linemen Cam Jordan, and wide receiver Michael Thomas round out the list for the Saints.
The Pittsburgh Steelers led the NFL with 8 selections.

This morning, December 20th, the UL Women's Basketball team will host Alcorn State in the Cajundome. This is the Cajun's non-conference finale.

Tonight at 7:00 pm, Louisiana Tech will take on the SMU in the 2017 Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. The game can be watched on ESPN.
